China's First Dinosaur - Lufengosaurus huenei

Lufengosaurus huenei was the earliest dinosaur discovered in China and the first to be excavated, studied, and mounted by Chinese researchers, earning it the name "China's First Dinosaur." It was discovered in Lufeng, Yunnan, in 1938 and named by Yang Zhongjian in 1941. It lived during the Early Jurassic period, measured about 4 to 6 meters long, and was an omnivorous dinosaur. Its fossils are highly significant for the study of dinosaur evolution.
