Dilophosaurus, also known as the two-crested dinosaur, was a carnivorous dinosaur from the Early Jurassic period. It measured about 6 to 7 meters long, with short forelimbs, strong hind legs, and agile movement. Its head featured two crescent-shaped bony crests, and its sharp teeth suggest it may have fed on carrion, small lizards, insects, and fish. It was one of the top predators in North America at the time.
